This client approached me to create a logo for her blog/brand: Novel Niche. The desired look and feel for the brand: Elegant, Irreverent, Distinctive, Striking, Non-Conformist with one request to somehow incorporate a deya in the logo.
Shivanee Ramlochan, the aforementioned "client", is a brilliant writer and I am a huge fan of her work so when tasked with this project, with a 2 week timeline, I was equally terrified and excited. This was one of those extremely rare moments in a designer's life where I submitted one option (based on the client's request) and there was no edits. She loved it immediately and it was done. The more I understand a client, their goal and the overall feel of the brand, the easier it is to meet their brand's needs and this project was proof of that!
